June 10th, 2018 | Fresco_adminSofia is a registered mechatronics Professional Engineer (P. Eng), with a holistic background in mechanical, electrical and controls systems. Her experience has led her to gain technical expertise through the design and project management of new and existing industrial, multi-residential, commercial and institutional buildings.
She is passionate about fighting climate change by reducing building’s green house gas emissions. Her current role in energy efficiency allows her to work closely with building owners and managers to help them improve their triple bottom line: people, planet and profit. She also likes to give back to the industry by volunteering for local groups such as the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), BC Sustainable Energy Association (BCSEA) and the Division for the Advancement of Women in Engineering (DAWEG). When not at work, you can find Sofia playing soccer, horseback riding or attending a music concert.
